As a built-in safety feature, if your dog barks 15 times or more within an 80 second period, the SBC-10 will automatically stop issuing static stimulation for 30 seconds and then resume normal operation.
The Bark Control Collar uses digital technology to provide the most reliable bark detection available with
the following modes:
- In Progressive Correction mode (default mode), the correction starts at the lowest level (1) and increases to the
next level (up to 10) each time your dog barks within 30 seconds of the previous bark. If your dog does not bark
again within 30 seconds, the correction will reset to the lowest level (1). - In User-Selected mode, you manually choose the correction level. If your dog barks, the collar will correct
him at the level you’ve selected (1-10) until he stops barking. User-Selected mode is designed to help train
a stubborn dog that will bark through the lower levels of static correction. It allows you to set the proper
stimulation level for your dog to stop him from barking instead of beginning at a level 1 and then increasing to
the proper level. - In Test mode, you are able to test the static stimulation to ensure the unit is functioning and should be used with
the provided Test Light Tool. It should not be used for training as it is not a functional mode of correction for dogs.
